Heathy Chocolate Granola Bars

These Heathy Chocolate Granola Bars are some of my favourite to date and they are the perfect snack satisfy those sweet cravings. As you can probably tell by now I’m a little obsessed with making healthy sweet treats. I genuinely didn’t realise how easy granola bars are to make. I can guarantee once you start making them you can never go back to store bought.

Heathy Chocolate Granola Bars

If you haven’t used quinoa flakes before they’re an amazing substitute to rolled oats with more of an earthy flavour. I packed these bars with a bunch of nutritious and most importantly delicious ingredients such as cacao nibs, coconut and goji berries. I’m in a bit of a chocolate kick at the moment and I don’t think it’ll be stopping anytime soon! Heathy Chocolate Granola Bars

Minutes: 10 + 4 hours setting time

Serves: 10

Ingredients

2 cups quinoa flakes

1/3 cup cacao nibs

1/2 cup desiccated coconut 

1/3 raw cacao powder

1/4 cup goji berries 

1/4 cup raisins

6 tbsp runny peanut butter

5 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Method

Add all of the ingredients together in a bowl and mix well. Tip the ingredients into a lined loaf or slice tin and leave in the fridge or freezer to set for at least 4 hours. (this is important otherwise it will crumble.)
